Robert S. Tumminaro
Robert S. Tumminaro focuses his practice in the representation of those charged with criminal, DUI, and traffic offenses.
Robert began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office located in Rockford, Illinois. As a prosecutor, he was initially assigned to traffic court before progressing through to misdemeanor, DUI, felony DUI, Traffic, and narcotics courtrooms and handled felony screening. He has extensive bench and jury trial experience and has litigated many legal motions, such as motions to quash and suppress evidence and summary suspension hearings.
After leaving the State’s Attorney’s Office, Robert started his own practice in the chicagoland area in 2014 using his experience gained as a prosecutor to successfully represent clients from charges ranging from petty traffic offenses to serious felonies. He has achieved excellent results for his clients and looks forward to serving you.
Robert graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2011 with a Juris Doctor. While in law school, he worked as a 711 law clerk in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office and also interned in the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office. Robert received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2007.
